Liza gets head start in cancer fight (The Scotsman)- About: Hair Loss News

Kind-hearted stylist Charlie Miller has joined forces with the Teenage Cancer Trust to help raise cash for wigs made of human hair. The wigs – which can cost up to £4000 – are a more natural looking alternative to the acrylic wigs available to cancer sufferers on the NHS and Liza, from Dalmeny, is one of the teenagers to benefit. Mr Miller was recently approached by top hairdresser Trevor Sorbie, who has a website dedicated to helping people suffering hair loss through illness. Teenage Cancer Trust fundraiser Lynne McNicoll is already planning events to raise money for the real-hair wigs project. read more
