Your next trim could mean a new do for a person in need through a Locks of Love hair drive in Indian Head Park on Sept. Gi’Ara Hair Studio, 6972 Wolf Road, will host the drive, which will collect hair to turn into wigs for children who suffer from hair loss. The hair will then be sent to the Locks of Love headquarters in Florida where it will be sorted out and sent to a manufacturer to produce the wigs. Locks of Love is a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to children in the United States and Canada under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss and are financially disadvantaged. read more
